I have to go now.
A friend died this morning. It's always very difficult to accept Death when a friend's time comes.

I think that "I don't know what I don't know" is motive enough to enter into community to see what others might not know what they don't know and call that God.
There is an event horizon out there at a distance CT beyond which we cannot know. I know that.

October 23, 2005 (In response to a query about the term CT)
Sorry, The C is light speed C and the t is your local time t. Their product is Ct; the distance out front of one that is a horizon beyond which one cannot know (Special Relativity i.e. the speed of light is constant for all independent of their relative motion). That is something they should know.
If you enter into a community and find some one who does not know this, then it is a matter of loving kindness to inform them that they do not know what they do not know. Example:
When driving your car down the road seeing through the front window, one should know there is a horizon out there at a distance Ct beyond which one is not permitted to know. They know they do not know that space beyond it.
If you want to know what that space feels like up close and personal; like, in one's here and now, just envision this experiment. Instead of a front window to see through, imagine that front window is all mirror. This mirror enables you to see the past in front of you as though you were driving forward into your past. If the road were laid out with organization in mind(the white lines on either side of a center line) it would be possible to drive down this road seeing only through this rearview mirror.
Would you do it? Would you do it on Hollowing Eve? What this experiment does is bring that future event horizon out there at a safe distance of Ct; it brings it up close and personal into ones now(no time). You would be driving down the road in a state of mind, I know i do not know. You could do this on faith alone. Now, if you did not know this mirror was a mirror and, instead, you thought it was your front window, that would be an instance of, "I do not know i do not know".
I have to go now.
